Not worth the trouble. If you want to shape the low frequency curve, get a minidsp or dcx2496.

Only asking because I don’t have a problem buying the vtf3’s but if I bought something less than those I don’t want to have to upgrade with in a couple years, my wife would have my a$$. Rather have the best I can afford now so I don’t have to upgrade again for a long time

What happens if you order just two VTF3 and decide to add two more right away if you need it?

Upgrading the subs would include proper setup, which can include EQ. You want as seamless transition from your mains, center to the subwoofer. There are few ways to do this and adding filters is the most common

Yes, and it's not going to be very useful. It can add a little, but without measurements no eq is useful.

Well I don’t have rew or minidsp yet, I have an SPL Meter n set everything to 75db n subs summed together at 78db

I’d probably have to do some experimenting with placement if I only had two since I wired for four n im running four now
