I have just taken delivery of a Teac A H300 Integrated Amplifier.
I currently have a Sony TA FE370 Amp hooked up to a Pro Ject Debut Carbon.
Switched over the phono cables and speaker wires, but the Teac amp just produces a buzz/hum etc. You can hear the music but through a lot of interference.
Speakers are KEF Concertos with 8 ohms impedance.
Is this an amp issue or a speaker issue.
Please help.
The Teac is a new option because it is a narrower amp. Looks great, but just can’t make it work with my Debut Carbon. Please help

If the speakers weren't an issue connected to the Sony I think your problem is the Teac. Maybe a ground loop hum with the Teac?

Thanks for the reply. I have earthed it the same way as the Sony. Taking it to my local audio expert tomorrow. It was an eBay purchase. The guy I bought it from only used it with the Teac CD player so maybe it is an issue with the phono connecters on the amp

If it's just a bit of corrosion try repeating inserting and removing an rca connector in the port for a bit and see if that improves things.
