Parts can be from anywhere, but put Together and shipped from US?

Good question. Where are Outlaw's prepros assembled? How about Emotiva? AudioControl? Datasat / Theta Digital are part of ATI, whose website is stamped all over with "Designed, Engineered and Assembled in the USA", but you're probably not in their target market unless you're prepared to spend 20 grand on an AVR or prepro + amp.

Emotiva are made here, but they don't offer an AVR. I use the lower level pre and I like it well enough. Nice thing about that is you can use any amp you want and/or already have. Downside is likely fewer features than an AVR that comes out every year.

Outlaw is a US company, but not sure where their stuff is made.

The Outlaw products that are designed by the company here in the US are assembled in China.

So a German car is okay (nice Cayman R!),but you need an AVR assembled in the US? Why?

But if you insist, I'm not aware of any AVRs made in the US. I thought the Lexicons might be, considering how they're priced, but they're assembled in Vietnam. If you insist on being actually made in the US you'll have to go with a Pre-Pro (like the Krell Foundation 4K) and separate power amplifiers (which are obviously easy to find made in the US).

Guess the next best is to look for one made in a country that are US friends.....do we have any FRIENDS left?

Ps: not mine, I don’t drive

McIntosh makes all theirs here in the USA
And make pretty much all of the parts for them
At lest that’s what I get from the videos I’ve seen of them

McIntosh makes an AVR? I thought only stereo receivers and pre-pros in this space.

McIntosh makes two pre-pros, the MX122 and the MX160

"Made in USA - Handcrafted in USA with US and imported parts."

Okay, whatever. I'm still not going to pay what they want for either one.

You don't even get those recognizable 'bluish' meters with these.

Nope. Trump is threatening tariffs on Japanese auto imports.

I'm thinking Israel and South Korea. The only electronics I can think of that come out of Israel are Intel CPUs. I'm not sure about what's made in Korea anymore.

Sent question to MacIntosh got this;

Hi Roger,
With very few exceptions, all McIntosh are made right here in Binghamton, NY.

I think Irv is right, that McIntosh makes stereo receivers but not AVR. Keeping looking..

Not quite electronics, but I believe the Morel speaker drivers are manufactured in Israel.

No AFFORDABLE entertainment gear is made in the USA, the unions and tree-huggers won't allow it. ;)

Upper-end Marantz/Denon are Made In Japan.

Yamaha/Pioneer upper-end has historically been Malaysia.

Anthem AVRs say Vietnam on the back.
