dual subs with dolby atmos

hello, i did a search but haven't come up with anything. I'm building my system in stages. I want to do a 7.2 then move to dolby atmos. Everything i see is 7.1.2(4). Can you use a second sub with 3D sound? Thanks for your time.

Absolutely. 7.4.4 isn’t even a problem.
