I have been looking at the Polk monitor 70 series the pioneer Andrew Jones and Klipsch R-28f .I haven't found anywhere to test out the Polk or the Andrew Jones series only ones I have heard in person were the Klipsch which I liked the sound of . But I didn't know if either of the others were a better sound quality than the klipsch. The monitor 70s are on sale for 200$ each pioneers look to be 130 but I seen good reviews and Klipsch are 330 I believe.. im looking more to the Klipsch unless there is some reason I should be looking at something else to start off with .. and if I do go Klipsch with the R-28f for towers would it be okay to go with a rp center ..

I'd look at the affordable accuracy speaker @ philharmonicaudio.com. Is a subwoofer in your mix? As I wouldnt consider one from any of the brands you mentioned. What's your total budget, room size, and seating distance from the main speakers ?

I am not a fan of the lower line Polks, so I would skip the Monitor 70s, but it does have its fans. The Pioneer SP speakers are a solid choice for the price. A lot of people seem to enjoy the newer Klipsch speakers, but I have only heard them once in suboptimal conditions. I don't think they would be bad and would probably be my choice from the options you listed.

Its a loft up stairs so the stairwell and Hall are open but the main seating area is about 15x17 my budget is 1000 for the front 3 and I'll add on the rears and subs next month I have a projector and 150 in screen so it will be used for gaming and movies 95% of the time and since it's up stairs I look to add ceiling speakers by Christmas or so... Seats are 13ft from the screen .. looking for the best movie style and gaming sound more than music .... ceilings are only 8 ft if that makes a difference

Are you sure your projector can handle a 150" screen? Most can not handle that sized screen while maintaining a good image.

Yeah it's the Epson 5040ube. It's rated for up to 300 in

I have the floor standing Andrew Jones pioneers and love them. There are better choices, but those fit my budget when I built my first theater and sounded great the whole time. For the money they are great.

All projector manufacturers wildly inflate their specs. 300" with that projector is a non-starter, it can not do it, period. Projector Central's projection calculator says that screen size should be OK with a 20' throw on a 16:9 screen that has a 1.0 gain. However, I would still consider shrinking that image down some, since Epsons specs are likely inflated. As the bulbs age, they will dim anyway, so you don't want to push it out to maximum screen sizes right away; factor in the life of the bulb, because most of that bulb's life won't have that initial brightness (unless you want to change the bulb every 200 hours). I would definitely go down in screen size if you want to watch 3D movies, which need a lot of brightness. If I were you I would aim for a 120" to 130" screen, that is more realistic with that type of projector's capabilities, and it is still a very large screen, and it will also allow you to get over 3,000 hours out of that bulb with a real nice image the whole way.

Its difficult to call that thing a subwoofer. Look at some real subwoofers, they are more expensive, but if you cheap out on the subs, your theater will be sadness, believe me.

Yeah I wish I would have went with a smaller size. I only have 16-17 in from floor to frame .. or at least with an acoustic screen so I could have done in wall speakers behind it . The throw is 15.5 ft and Gain is 1.0. I assume I will have to build a custom media cabinet to angle the center speakers towards ear level or would that make a difference.
