Hi
It comes out from the speakers and you hear it when you raise and lower the volume up fast hold in the volume button all the time dont let it go before say 60-70 and lower it down the same way.
Try various music.

Sorry, I didn't mean it that way.
Just kidding around. :D

But now I'll have to listen to my speakers and change the volume at the same time just to see. :D

Got this from denon support.

Thank you for your inquiry.
We assume that the noise you describe comes from the impulse of the volume control. You can hear this noise if you are listening very close to the speaker.

If you still suspect a defect, you can contact your dealer from whom you purchased your product.

Sincerely,
DENON Customer Support

Please test this, and get back to me.

It depends on what music I'm playing and if I play Spotifyconnect or with the Oppo Bluray player. It seems more sensitive if I run Spotify connect. Then I hear it frome the couch 3 meter and on this song I hear it very well. ( Only you with zara larsson ) Spotify connect.
Try and rais and lower the volume whit that song.

/Peter

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you Peter....

I listened to Zara Larsson's song on Spotify via bluetooth from my laptop. There is no clicking noises when I change volume a little bit, or a large amount.

Hope this helps,
Trvlngnrs

I'm considering if i should sell the Denon after service have taking a look at it, and if they cant do any thing about it.
And maybe by an Arcam Avr550 instead any thougts about that..??
Arcam vs Denon..? And maybe Anthem mrx720.

I don't see any point unless you really believe Anthem and Arcam's room eq system are better. Other than that, the Denon is hard to beat in terms of features and specs.

Seriously, I have no life.
Do you use the Denon's remote control, a universal remote control or the smart phone app to raise and lower the volume? I have heard odd noises many times when using smart phones near audio equipment- maybe this is the cause if you're using the phone or tables to control the AV receiver.

In terms of power, features, and sound quality (Dynamic EQ over DIRAC), I would go with Denon.

Just what would you be comparing? Curious, what's the price difference in Europe?
I'm interested in knowing what you think and like arcam vs denon audyssey vs Dirac. Price difference is around 990$
