Voltage Converter

Hi to all: our standard electrical outlets in the US is 110, I have a denon 1912 avr which gives out 110 to 240 volts which 99.9% I listen to music, my current setup is 2.0, adding a sub which I haven't decided on yet, my budget is $500. denon 1912 avr. 2 svs prime tower speakers. yamaha cd-c600bl 5 disc Do I need a voltage converter...Thanks To ALL

Confused....do you have 110/120 60 cycle voltage from your electric utility as is normal in the US? Or are you elsewhere? Or did you buy a 220/240 volt version of the 1912?

Not sure I get the question. If you’re in the US and your Denon is a US model, why would you need a voltage converter?

I'm in Wash, DC, bought it from accessories 4less and there was nothing indicated that it needed a voltage converter, stumbled across a company named 220 Electronics, right after I posted this I went back to view the web site again and understand why they named the company 220 Electronics, it provides electronics for places outside of the USA due to voltage requirements outside of the USA, my apologies for wasting your time...

My apologies for wasting your time, I stumbled across a company named 220 Electronics and not thinking or paying attention to why they call themselves 220 Electronics, I believe you see where I'm going with this and why there name starts with 220 and I bought my unit from accessories 4less and there was nothing indicating that I needed the converter...My apologies again...

Just to clarify, the unit you bought from Accessories4Less.com would be one that operates only on the 110/120 volts @ 60hz AC that is standard for all US homes as wall outlets. In our homes only the large odd-looking 3-slot outlets for stoves and electric dryers would be 220 volt.

And by the way, the AVR1912 doesn't "give out" 110 volts, it uses that and converts it down to low voltage for output to the speakers.
