Denon 2312 Finally Died

All, I'm looking for some pointers to get something that has sound quality and features similar to my old, trusty 2312. It gave me nearly 4 good years before a storm fried the HDMI board. Still powers on fine and can even do networked music, but no go on any HDMI in or out.

I loved this receiver and am looking for something equivalent (but modern). Any suggestions?

My key care-abouts are:

100W / channel (I use 6 ohm speakers and crank it up pretty good)
Dual Zone (even if it's just pre-amps out)
5.2 minimum
Networked (wired or wireless are both fine)
Remote music capable (bluetooth or airplay or app based - i need to be able to play sound from my phone)
3 HDMI in minimum (1080P and 3D passthrough minimum)

and the kicker < $400 (i'm fine with refurbished)

this board set me on the path to the Denon 2312 so I'm trusting in it again.

Because I'm a sucker, I'm looking at a Denon 2113 CI. A4L has a few in stock. They're refurbs, but I have had pretty good luck with that (or getting them fixed if they fail fast).

The biggest downsides fot he 21XX vs. the 23XX look to be that there is only 1 sub port and 95 W/channel on the 21XX whereas the 23XX has 105 W/channel and 2 sub ports. I never used the second sub port.

Am I going to notice losing the 10W / channel with 6 ohm speakers? I was perfectly, deafeningly fine at 105W.

No you won't notice the difference, but for $100 more you can get the X3000.

My advise is to get a cheap laptop fan with air circulating out after you get it repaired.

Now that was mean . I called but no luck due to being out of warranty. Thanks for the idea though.

I'm in Texas. The Issue is both warranty and age. They don't have or make the HDMI board anymore. I called a few of the Texas Denon repair facilities directly too. No one was even willing to take the unit.

2012 is basically an antique apparently

Damn that sucks Onkyo are honoring their HDMI failures 2009-2012:

I'd go for a Yamaha Aventage from a4l if I were you. Get a fan too. Remember all these receivers run HOT. I've used a fan on all my Onkyo's and never had a problem.
