Hey guys!

I just finished wiring my Mom and Dads remodel. For Decor reasons my Mom likes the white Orbs so I'm doing 5.2 with the 3 Fronts consisting 2modx and the rears will be 1modx singles.
The big Question... Where do I find a 2 White mid level good SMALL? Subs?? I've already crossed the Nano out. That's way too much for them.
Thank all!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Man....good and small and white, sounds like a tall order.....or perhaps a cool diy project depending on budget, which is what by the way?

Just get a couple of Dayton ultimax 10 flat packs and have a local cabinet maker assemble and paint.

http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-10-ultimax-subwoofer-and-cabinet-bundle--300-7095
That's $460, add an amp 300, paint and assembly 350, 1100.

1100 for the right paint finish and two subs that will play down to 20hz, that's a deal

since budget wasn't mentioned and I consider sub below in mid-level/good sub
http://www.musicdirect.com/p-237041-rel-s2-subwoofer.aspx
(yes it's available in white)

Few other options (not as good) include
cheap - https://www.amazon.com/Audioengine-White-8-inch-Powered-Subwoofer/dp/B002XRS0T6
a bit better: https://www.amazon.com/KEF-Q400WH-Firing-Powerful-Subwoofer/dp/B00CE3LFIM/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1467656237&sr=8-8&keywords=white+subwoofer

but best value/performance would probably be with DIY option above.

No, Just no AF. No Deftek recommendations please. Even cheaply
Lol was about to say something like "but he said a good sub". Would be nice to have some definition as to what's good enuf for the folks in terms of extension/spl in what size room.

That was my first thought but seems its only in piano black gloss....or do they offer custom finishes?
If I were the OP I would contact Ed Mullen and see what he can do with regards to a white glossy finish. If it can be done, then Ed would certainly know. Might be worth the OP's time. Just saying.........

Cheers,

Phil

The SB1000 comes in gloss white. In the 'finish' options, look on the far right, its actually a bit hard to see on their website because they made it white on white. It does have a $100 upcharge.

Was just going by the White factor and saw that review. Oh well...I say SVS if it's in the OP's budget. Love mine. Ed is a great guy to work with too. :)

Lol. Yes Sir. Budget for them is really no issue, it's more Asthetics with my mom my dad can't hear. Lol. That's terrible!
He just wants to hear dialogue. Too much bass isn't good for them. Their bass head yrs... Have long past. Since I already wired the house etc.... They live 100 miles away. So, I'm leaning more towards purchase than DIY. The Diy happens at my house!!

Figured the WAF was important here. Not so sure about performance but those SVS aren't very expensive and work well....

Ah.... SVS In white? That would be perfect. I thought there was a Good Company that was offering white now?

Thank for the feed back guys.... SVS may be the perfect fit!
