Hello guys
First, thanks for any help up front and any suggestions are welcome. I do not have anything like room eq to help with figuring out my room acoustics but after doing the "sub crawl" in my irregular shaped living room the best bass I was getting was actually behind my low entertainment cabinet. The cabinet is at a 45 degree from a corner with a fair amount of room behind it. My sub is the BIC PL-200 which is a front driver and rear ported sub. Currently the port is facing one wall, about 8 inches away, and the driver is facing open area but still behind the cabinet. Does the direction of the port and driver matter in this situation?
