You come at a heavenly little winery and it just begins:

And it's all there, believe me; spring truffles, asparagus, wine from amphorae, billy goat, pork in pistachios...

What I have to do is say how I liked it;)

It's a tough job… but someone has to do it.

Nema cevape?
:D:D:D Good enough. I wanted to ask you did you ever consider visiting, or perhaps you do regularly/occasionally?

I keep telling them: "I brake my back so that you don't have to!!" "Never will you taste bad wine as long as you have my watchful eye(palate) out there.

Most of you make my mouth water with your equipment so I have to brag a little bit...

I actually have had cevape in Zagreb back in '87 I think. There was a little shop and the guy working there was rude but it was sooooo good that I ordered seconds. My father is in Toronto so that is where I get my cevape now. My cousin gets 'em pre-made and fires them on a grill in his back yard.

My brother moved his family to Zagreb in '97 for about 10 years but I didn't visit. Perhaps down the line there will be another European vacation for me. My g/f sees these travel shows and thinks it would be fun. She doesn't know what we're like in large numbers. :D

How sad, for you.
Well, most of you probably have better standard and far better audio equipment, I have to make you jealous somehow!;)

Here's another try, this is my brothers little windsurf/sailing club and me rigging the cat16:

I was being facetious- getting to eat that kind of food can't be a bad thing.

We have a restaurant here in MKE that serves Serbian food and one of the dishes we had was ćevapčići- I had the Burek. It was fantastic, but I really needed a nap afterward.

Yes, Adriatic. And yes, crowd from all around the world.

Yes, I got that. That's why I said I was trying to make you jealous.;) You with dream equipment and me at least with some pretty beaches and local cuisine.:p

I'm glad you liked the food in Serbian restaurant. Both burek and ćevapčići belong to most Balkan cultures. They originate from Turkey and came to Balkans with the Ottoman empire, so I hope no pork was mixed in ćevapčići your friends ate 'cause then it was just bad ćevapčići.

All those recipes are common in Croatia as well. Every pastry shop and bakery has burek and you have loads of ćevabdžinica (a place specialized in ćevapčići) all over the country. It's the same with sarma, gibanica, japrak, dolma, stuffed this and stuffed that (people here like to stuff stuff:D) stuffed onions, peppers, zucchini, potatoes, calamari you name it we stuff it.

Do you think Christianity is so popular because pork is delicious all by itself? :D

I mean if I wasn't born Christian I would convert for bacon.

There must be cvarak converts all over Bosna.

gibanica, japrak, dolma,
That's all new to me. I looked that winery up on Google. I imagine Istria would be really cool with the mix of culture. My introduction to sea food came late in life because we're from Bosna. It took some friends from Split and Zadar to show me how it was done. I took their lead and brought some fish to my mother's to share what I had learned and she wanted to put Vegeta on it. Oh yeah ...

Vegeta...? I imagine one would be banished from the island I grew up on if he used Vegeta on fish.:D

Pork is divine. Although I don't use it everywhere. My ćevapčići, bolognese, stuffed peppers etc. never have pork, but skewers are all pork.
