Onkyo TX-NR 727, a couple of issues

Hi,

Since a couple of weeks I own a brand new Onkyo TX-NR 727 receiver.
I did the complete setup, it's all working now, except for a few things:

Remote controls for network features:
When I switch to NET input and play some music via NDLA for example, I can use the Search/Repeat/Random/Mode functions on the remote control.
But after I push the Receiver button, the same buttons behave like the default functions for switching the listening modes.
How can I switch back to "NET mode" to be able to use the Search/Repeat/Random/Mode again?

Volume knob light glow is off:
Is there any setting to switch the light glow around the volume knob on, or is the led just broken in my receiver?

Thanks!

On my old Onkyo remote you would just press "net" again to be able to control the specific net functions, rather than the receiver specific functions. There should be a dimmer button on the remote to cycle thru the options of the light around the volume knob as well as panel brightness.

Thanks for your reply :)

The NET button does the trick, but it resets to the main NET screen instead of staying in the music player of the selected source.
Stupid user interface..

I think the light around the volume knob is definitely broken.
Will contact Onkyo about this..

So you want to watch another source while listening to a network source....quite a few receivers won't do that. Is that confirmed possible in your Onkyo's manual? My Onkyo, Pioneer and Sony avrs wouldn't support that, my Denon can.
