I hope Netflix will do the Punisher series too. I actually like The Punisher's character better than Daredevil's. :D

I also hope Netflix brings on the Blade series. :D

I watched a Nova special yesterday about Neanderthals and based on genetic studies, they found neanderthal to have the same gnome for language as modern man and were thought to have a language to communicate their ideas. So far, they have been credited for coming up with the first industrial process in heating birchbark to a temperature hot enough to produce resin which was used to glue the flint arrows to the staff. Speaking of flints, they were also very adept in reading the grain of the rock and to purposely shape it to get the best cut from the flint. It was no accident but a planned method for obtaining this. Modern humand and Neanderthals mated and were basically bred out of extinction in a 10000 year period. Their contribution to the human gene pool are those of fightting off diseases. Modern humans have between 0 and 3% makeup of neanderthal depending on one's origin. Quite geeky but very cool.

Just the final episode of Lost Girl (S05E16). It's a good ending. It leaves at a strong point where another season could pick up easily if they wanted to. :)

Season Finale of Walking Dead. I can't believe when.......Just kidding, but it was an awesome episode the series just keeps getting better and it's a perfect cast for Negan.

I watched Walking Dead S06E16 (season finale) last night. Awesome as ever. Now we have to wait another 6 months for S07. :(

Guess I'll have to settle for "Fear the Walking Dead" for a few months. :)

I want to say Star Wars TFA but I'm saving it for the weekend. I want to watch the movie and the extras together which gets pretty late for a school night.

I've watched the new X-Files (S10) E01-04.

I am disappointed in this new season.

I know it's been a while since the original series, but I thought the original X-Files was much better than this new season.

Unlike the X-Files, I thought the new season of "24" was just as good as the previous seasons.

Maleficent 3D Loved the movie, Jolie was fantastic and the beautiful dark scenes, but no real popouts or depth. Anyone agree?
Also watch on BD Seven with Morgan and Pitt. Saw this in the movies when it came out. Still been awhile, so I did not remember the storyline, but of course remember the ending, Classic that still holds up.

The Time Machine (2002) DVD
Dolby Digital / Lucasfilm Ltd THX Sound System /JBL professional

Another modern day remake of H.G. Wells, novel 'The Time Machine' starring Guy Pearce with visual time effects by ILM and cool time traveling mixing by Steve Maslow and Gregg Landaker.

These Morlocks are more fearsome then the 1960 version where they venture out in the day to get there supplies.

The dark caves of the Morlocks world has a lot of mechanical workings and breathing sound. eerie wet watery dripping sounds.

Foley punches between Alexander and the Morlock leader "Über-Morlock" inside the sphere bubble of the time machine, a few of the punches jolted me back in the rocker seat.

The final showdown with time machine being used as some sort of time bomb to de-time the Morlocks. I had an item fall down from near the ceiling with low end LFE.1.

Aftershock (2012)
dtshdma 5.1 Lucasfilm Ltd THX sound System / JBL professional

It was a shocker after the Earthquake stuck releasing a rampage of homicidal prisoners roaming the streets its now become a desperate struggle clawing for life.

The gore of the scenes is rather grim and makes films like Earthquake and San Anderas look tame.

The Earthquake sound effect in film wasn't as impacting as SENSURROUND or as deep as San Anderas it did look however look realistic with practice effects and performances.

A few scenes that was a bit alarming that gave me the chills, I won't spoil it. Its not really my sort of cup of tea this film I was just curious if the earthquake sound could top EARTHQUAKE 1974.

Olympus Has Fallen (2013)

Its DIE HARD meets the white house.

The low end was no slouch with chapter 3 and 4 dropping in with lows heavy around 20Hz 25 and often below 20Hz! Floor and seats vibrated for a good few minutes.
