The thing is, what has it done to his head? Maybe some one on one with Tony Robbins.

And now the first shoe in the NFC East has dropped… the Philadelphia Eagles fire Chip Kelly. Will other shoes fall in this division?

Eagles fans, believe me, I'm not trying to rub it in (much). I'm only ecstatic that the story isn't about how dysfunctional my own favorite team is.

Doesn't dysfunction make for great news? I disagree with Cleveland firing their coach. The GM, yeah due to all the busts in the draft but the coach is stuck trying to make it work with the crap he is given.

I also disagree with the Bucs firing Lovie Smith. Oh wait, Bucs haven't done anything since Gruden... have a quarterback that hasn't been arrested this year (could change in 2016), team is showing promise so let's fire the coach. Yeah, that is going to work. Maybe...

Philly...well, look at how many coaches lost their first head job and then learned and went onto great success. The evil Sith Lord Belicheck was fired from his first head coaching job and went on to do well. Many others have as well. Philly needs a QB and someone good to manage the draft and free agency.

The 49's are...that is a major project. Not for the faint of heart.

Manziel... is it sick of me to read bout his collapse and being the biggest draft bust since Ryan Leaf?

Not much of a game between the Panthers and Seahawks so far. The Seattle O-line is just getting shredded.

Carolina made it more interesting by laying back in the 2nd half. 31-0 at half time, but the final score was 31-24.

It did end up being a more interesting game than It looked like at halftime. Still, I never really felt the Panthers had totally lost control.

So if you have a cable subscription you can stream the games on FOX for free. Not 100% sure about CBS, but there's an app on windows 10 that gives you an HD stream of the game. Just not sure if it's pay to view or included in a cable subscription.

They took their foot off the gas in the second half, but they kept enough control to advance. I'm looking forward to see Arizona vs. Carolina game.

And now Denver stole another game in the last minutes. I'll never be convinced the altitude doesn't play a major role. Denver's location gives them an unfair home field advantage. Now New England has to play Denver at 5,000 feet. Tom Terrific vs. Perfect Peyton, yet again.

It was interesting to watch that game and see all the guys on the sidelines with the oxygen masks on. You're absolutely right, if you're not used to playing in that thin air it makes a huge difference in your start to finish performance. I'm sure the Pats have prepared for this eventually. Possibly training in altitude masks. I can vouch for those things, they make your strain like crazy to inhale and exhale.

I don't know who I'm going to root for, if anyone, in the Arizona/Carolina game. Cam's a great player and an amazing talent, but for some reason he rubs me the wrong way. Meanwhile, I've been a Fitzgerald fan since he was in college so I'll probably end up rooting for the Cardinals.

It may be their 17th meeting, but IMO, still not old :D I'll always enjoy the Peyton/Brady rivalry.

I'll be rooting for Brady and the Pats, mainly because of the Deflated Football nonsense from last year. I want to see Roger Goddell smile and hand the championship trophy to Tom Terrific.

I think that happens in sports... usually when the strong personality is on the other team. I remember disliking Broadway Joe because he was on the left coast and part of that new league. If he had been a Redskin, I likely would have loved him.

Personally, I'm rooting for Denver - Arizona for the SB. Palmer has really matured in Arizona and Peyton should have another shot at a title before her retires.

I think Peyton should retire. His body is really beaten up and he should stop after this year so he can have fun with his kids instead of being a walking commercial for reconstructive surgery and pain meds.

I'd love to see Peyton play another year, not at the expense of his health, but it'd be awesome if he could stay healthy enough to play 8-10 games and then hopefully another playoff run. I think that's the biggest step he'd have to take in order to play longer. Take a reduced role and sit himself before it gets to that point like it did this year.
