Wharfedale 10.1 - a look inside

It should be noted that the Diamond 10.1's do not look that pretty on the inside. The insulation is just stuffed in and the crossover is vertical above the binding posts. As to whether this effects the sound is another story. There still good speakers. The photo is just a little misleading as it is probably a show piece.

The name of the game tends to be marketing - however even with the short-comings,
still better than many speakers - and I have opened up a lot of speakers.

Quality control tends to be better on more expensive speakers.

If you can be patient for 2 to 4 weeks? (you might PM/ask Dennis how soon) Dennis Murphy is also working on a Bookshelf mod that seems would be an excellent fit. Note that he says the bass from the bookshelf is better than that of the Floorstanding Pioneer! See link:

Mr Murphy was saying to not pursue the old mod he had on the MurphyBlaster site because the newer one linked above is better!
