Finally coming together

As like you don't have enough speakers, but if you want to borrow the other set of my rears you're welcome to it. (I did say borrow). There is no way I can even bring them home, my wife would go nuts. Besides as big as they are there is no way to set my system up to 7.2. I could drop them off at your parents house other wise I have to leave them up at Johns.

You know I couldn't say no to that. If you brought them to my parents house I could pick them up later in the summer, or they could bring them if they come back down before I go back up.

You're too good to me :D

Its funny how tiny those Ultra's look in this pic!
Yea, and they're not tiny speakers either. Great speakers, although I think I prefer the Mandolins to them. However, they were for the GF and she loves them so a win all around.

The new place looks nice! I look forward to some pics once you get it set up.

Hard wood can be a real pain in the a**...

Floors that is. To dust.

^ just get a micro fiber mop! I've got two different types of bamboo upstairs and down. I vacuum first and then use a squirt n mop cleaner. Que silly comments:

Getting closer to finishing up. Lots of gaps in the wiremold downstairs because I had to make sure I had enough for upstairs. Now that upstairs is done, I may go back through and close up those gaps. Then again, maybe not because I'm lazy. Upstairs is 95% done except I might add side surround speakers and I still need to find the mic that goes with the 7008 and run Audyssey.

You can just barely see the zone 2 upstairs over on the left.

Congratulations on the new place. I found a DIY video that shows how to paint quickly and neatly.

What's that in the top left corner? Sorta reminds me of Walter's surrounds.

I'm curious about the rack on the left as well.
Those are Walter's old surrounds. He gifted them to me awhile back when he was upgrading his system.

Both racks are Salamander. The left one is the Salamander Archetype 5.0 and the right one is the Salamander Synergy something or other. The Archetype is easy enough to replicate, it's just threaded rod and pieces of hardwood. I can snap some closeups.

No rush on the pic's. I thought it was threaded rod but Ive never seen that in black before. I like how the frame or structure is inside the perimeter of the rack. As we all know, I'm all out of space so this is pretty much a spectator sport from now on.
