Most experts and audio enthusiasts say that the center channel is the most important speaker in a home theater system. Although I agree with that, my absolute favorite speaker is the subwoofer because it fills the listening space with sound you can hear and sometimes even feel. Of course, not all subs are equally capable of achieving such demanding task as there is much to take into consideration in order to achieve a good performing product. Power Sound Audio (PSA) knows a thing or two about this and seems to have achieved this with their S3000i Subwoofer.

There are several threads about this subwoofer around the web, but I decided to do my own overview. The S3000i features the new ICEpower® 1700W amplifier with DSP which is in charge of powering two improved proprietary SE 15" high excursion drivers housed in a sealed enclosure.

On the back panel you will find the gain, crossover, delay/phase, auto on-off, and a convenient room size controls.

Thanks for posting the overview! Couple quick comments. The amp picture doesn't show the entire amp. The high power versions of our iCE design is actually based around dual ICE modules.

Also, we finally(yesterday) got caught up with S3000i orders. New orders will ship within 1-2 business days.

Here's one good shot. I'm a little hesitant to post how we mount them internally as we'd rather all of the *panda see panda do" competition spend some time of their own on all of this(versus just copy pasting from our website)..:)

Here is the original S3000i compression chart. This one was really rushed outside as we had a *ton* of measurements to get through and only a couple hours of dry weather. Toward the end we were literally holding umbrellas over the measurement rig and the DUT!

We'll have time to get better scaling on everything soon.
