TV successfully mounted. Easy installation and now the center speaker is up off the floor.

So I finally got around to setting up the zone 2 on the Marantz 7008 using the SVS Ultra bookshelves. Due to the room layout and placement restrictions, they're angled a little oddly. They point towards the kitchen so the goal was to get the imaging sounding as good as possible for in front of the stove. This angling was what I came up with after about 20 minutes. I might be able to get it a little better, but that'll have to wait for another time.

Added some Kef's a la Steve81. Pretty sure they're going to pull a back to school, but for now I'm playing with them in my office.

I usually stick to before 8pm on the weekdays and before 10 on the weekends. I don't remember what the exact rules are but no complaints yet.

Depends on what it is. Certain things I know I'll take a loss on in resale, other stuff I break even, and every once in awhile I come out ahead. Speakers I usually take a loss. Receivers/processors I'm 50-50 with. Amplifiers I'm more ahead than behind. Other electronics like the projector I knew I would take a loss on when I bought it.

Well, I settled on Five Armies. However, I did throw on Interstellar, subs only, just to see the opening scene and if the subs could handle it. Turned it up to -6 and those deep notes from the organ nearly gave me a headache. Pretty awesome though.

Now I feel bad, as I was also not at work (shocking, I know )...but wasn't reading the forum.

Btw, this little $40 gadget is eff to the ing fantastic. It's just one of several options for these things, but happens to be the one that I got a chance to try out. Skip to around 2:25 to avoid my blathering and just see it cranking. (The original video is 480 if you want to adjust the settings.)
