Rant over . New Yamaha Receiver is sounding really good , especially with movies that have the late night setting for two channel listening , they (Carnegie Bookshelves) sound somewhat better than with the Pioneer SC -37 in that mode.

Hello Rick, How is the Central Jersey weather treating you, cold as well I bet??
Have you made a decision about the July 4 GTG , will it be skipped this year or ready to go in full force ??
I would love to visit again and meet up with other AHers , it was definitely a good time.

Hey Rob,
After the long winter, (that I know you're familiar with) :D My wife insisted we increase our FL visits to three, more than we ever have. We spent July 4th down there last year and plan to do the same again.
Last September a few of us met on the Asbury Park boardwalk, I'll see if there's any interest.
I'll PM you.

After my ruminant anal wind expulsion comment, I've been trying to stay out of the climate debate thread. But, now the barstards are getting into my territory with GMO talk. I'm breaking out in 'very tempted to post' sweats.

Do we know how many pizzas Alex ate while she was gone?
Technically, none. I ordered pizza, chicken parm w/ zitti and a grilled ckicken and Romain salad on the trip back from the airport. I'm taking the last f the pizza and some low fat cottage cheese to work for lunch because that is how we roll in this great state of Rhode Island when we work in Mass where the term Masshole is much used.

* I see your boring and raise you stupid.

Anywho, since I didn't have the forethought to post in the member feedback thread first and then come here and make fun of Steve, I'll double post it.

Got the Kef's set up pretty much right in front of the Source Speakers, turned off Audyssey, and gave'em a listen. I'll probably end up bringing them to school after spring break since the only remaining real estate is reserved for some....other stuff. The only downside (or is it?) is that they sound 100 times better crossed over to 4 subwoofers. Clearly this means that I need to bring my four subs to school with me and replace them with 4, 12cuft 21" FTW sealed subs. Sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Definitely. Even my wife's school rig has a subwoofer. Sadly, I don't think I have the picture of it sitting on top of the old PB13 anymore...

Anyway, off to bed, then I get to hit the road in a few hours.

Good times right there. Too bad you'll be making the drive hangoverless :D

Raise me stupid? That's better than, "Raise you, stupid". It's not about respect. It's all about punctuation. o_O

...of the freezer. Gonna BBQ a couple of striploins for supper. I'm glad I shovelled all the snow off the deck before it froze solid, or grilling would be a pain.

Took the day out of work ... I guess to hang out here. I have a tentative man date at an Eastern European deli at 9:00. Should I just wear the flip flops or should I cover my ankle? I'm so stressed.
