Saw the story last week, but not the teaser. At least it is Frost and Lynch, but I'm not sure what to think at this point. Going to be difficult to "revive" after so long. Certainly one of my favorite shows of all time.

Well, there was the one little thing in Fire Walk With Me (last year I got her hooked on it, she hadn't seen it, so we watched the whole thing including FWWM) where Laura says "See you in 25 years Agent Cooper. In the meantime..." So they may play off of that, or that was the plan all along; I don't know. Would be interesting if they had intended to do something like this already.

One of my all time favs. It has been over 20 years since it came out, and it has been rarely equaled and never topped. Shows nowadays have bigger budgets and a lot more artistic freedom, but Twin Peaks has a certain magic....

Seriously, I have no life.
They better have Harry Dean Stanton along for the ride, or I'm not watchin' it.

Harry Dean Stanton was not in the original. Dunno why you need him back. Plus he is very old, almost 90, although he is still workin. I just want Bob back, one of the scariest villains of all time. Many of the cast is quite old or dead. Don Davis and Jack Nance have both passed away, and that is just what I can think of off the top of my head. Garland Briggs was one of the best characters too.

Well, if it is supposed to be 25yrs later, it would be expected some of them wouldn't still be aronud. That's my concern is how they handle it, but it sounds like it is intended to be a continuation. Since they said they don't have everyone signed on yet, including Kyle McLachlan, I'm not sure how it will be yet. There were a lot of interesting characters in that one... Sheryl Lee (Laura) appears to have been working all along and they could potentially work her into the story or in flashbacks or Maddy (which would also be flashbacks now) like in the series. Andy and Hawk would be interesting. Shelly and Leo. Log Lady :)

Might be popular in Washington state and Colorado.
Twin Peaks was so popular here, as it was going on Fridays, bars and pubs went almost bankrupt because people had to stay home, in order to watch Twin Peaks, and on Saturdays people had to be still at home in order to watch the re-run so they could get the full details of what was going on.

It was the series of the decade, and David Lunch was acclaimed as the genius of masters ......

Yup. Everyone I know who watched it still loves the show. There have been plenty of good shows since then, but none as uniquely good as it.

I suspect the writers of Twin Peaks, Lost, and Haven have similar tastes in their choice of creative inspiration.
