Thank you! I was thinking that maybe I could set the crossover point higher in my UMC-200 and then combine it with my SVS internal crossover to make higher frequencies clearer. But if you are saying LFE input defeats internal crossover, there is my answer. Right now my SVS is set to full range.
I was very happy with my crossover set at 65 Hz with 24db/octave slope at moderate/high volumes. But as I recently started to listen louder, I was wondering if my Def Tech SM-55 monitors are too wimpy to take the mid/low bass content, and set the crossover at 80 and then 100 Hz. It relaxed the sound a bit, but now I have a tad too much upper bass/lower midrange. This got me thinking about that idea... but it's not a big deal, really.
