My heart sank when I finally saw your listing, after commuting to buy the Sierra 2 and dual Rythmik E15. Had that not been the case, I would have seriously considered buying them.

Not complaining though, my 2.2 setup has set the bar very high, on all fronts.

I can't believe that I only have 2 more items to sell - 1) KEF 201/2 & 2) Linkwitz Orion. Almost unreal. Almost sold the 201/2 last night too. The guy said he was going to buy the new boxy $7,500 KEF Reference bookshelf that looks like an R300 bookshelf, but wanted to see the last minute if I could sell the 201/2 for $2K. Good luck.

Good for you. I only have 1 pair of speakers left to sell (Orion), but I may never get them sold.

Now don't you spend that money just yet.

I think you are on spending probation for another 6 months or until we have you selling the Parasound preamp and accepting the idea of a Pre-pro or AVR.

Ha.... I already have a few things in place that I am thinking of right now. Not sure which way I will go. I will tell you this, the Marantz PM8004 hooked up to the RBH sounds like crap. I can tell you if I didn't have the P5 with ATI running the RBH, I wouldn't be sure of keeping them. They sound muddy with the Marantz. The ATI and P5 make the RBH sing..
I remember first hearing the speakers and thinking the bass sounded loose but after a week or so that seemed to go away. Or I got acclimated to it.
I do still like the fact of having all the P5 adjustments with a sub and monitor's. I guess an AVR with all the features would do the same.

I think your next EXPERIMENT is to borrow a Denon AVR from Best Buy and hook up to the ATI amp.

If the AVR experiment sounds like crap, then we know the Parasound/ATI is definitely for you.

You know every speaker I've listed has had at least one offer. Some of the offers were a few hundred dollars short, but at least people made the offer.

But not a single soul has even made an offer of any kind for the Orion.

I think my best bet is if someone locally finds interest.

3 bad things regarding the Orion.

1. It's an expensive speaker (new Orion now costs $15,000)
2. It's a delicate tower speaker. It comes with wood crates, which means freight shipping is substantial, like $600-$1,000 depending on destination.
3. It's a Direct Internet brand that doesn't have much following.

But I suppose if I dropped the price to the same price as a Phil3 ($3K), I would get quite a few offers. But I'm never going to do that. I would rather just keep them. And chances are, I probably will just keep the Orion along with the five RBH SX-T2P/R towers.

I give an "edge" to ATI because it has more "features" I like. But I know in terms of SQ, they are neck-to-neck.

I read somewhere that the ATI is a touch more quite as well. That might not be true. I know it's dead silent and very powerful to me.. It's a piece that I wouldn't sell. Any idea of what a channel cost in these if I went from two to three?
