I rented and enjoyed the first three on DVD, more for the comedy aspects, than anything else. As with all Michael Bay movies, the SFX were good and the sound was loud but, all in all, I laughed a lot. I hope that was his intention...
I did recenty pick up the first three on Blu-Ray for $15 on Amazon and, well, the picture is better and the sound is louder than on the DVD's.
Wifey actually wants to see this one in the thratres. What one does for love...
