Just ordered 4 new tires (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3).
The ones on my car (Continental ContiProContact) only have ~27,000 miles on em and they're damn near bald already. I keep them properly inflated and rotate them regularly. I don't peel out (it's just a civic lol) or brake hard. I can never get tires to last
I wasn't really satisfied with their grip in the rain so this isn't too bad a move I guess. The new tires have great reviews regarding dry and wet performance (according to Tire Rack and Consumer Reports). I hope they are a little more durable but they do have a 45k mileage warranty so I guess I'll see how it goes
The ContiProContacts have a 50 or 60k mileage warranty but of course that doesn't apply to oem tires.
