Not my usual thing, but this is growing on me. The singer's voice reminds me a little of Graham Parker, a little less of Springsteen, maybe. But better. The band definitely has chops.
Springsteen, via Georgia that is. :D

Definitely check out their Stay Positive (*******) album. This is from their 2010 release, Heaven Is Whenever (***).

Led Zeppelin (first album) on vinyl. These guys definately knew how to record on vinyl. Even their original mastered stuff sounds better than most vinyl coming out in the 70's and 80's.

...No. 1 Record (******) by Big Star in 1972. .... Classic. Still chills my bones listening to it. A must have.
Listening to this cured me of that WTH? teaser to TBK's Turn Blue above. Knocked it right outa my psyche. :D

Lately I've really been enjoying Alexi Murdoch; I first heard him on Stargate Universe which I thought was underrated.

If you like texas rockabilly you'll find this record red hot.

Steve Doerr and Don Leady/guitars, vocals (later with Tail Gators, and Evan Johns & the H-Bombs); Mike Buck/drums (earlier with The Fabulous Thunderbirds).

Serious music for serious enthusiasts.

Summer is coming. You know who you are. :D

I'm listening to St. Vincents album with David Byrne. It's called Love This Giant from 2012. Or maybe it's David Byrne and St. Vincent. Found her on accident and she reminded of David Byrne. I listened to another album of hers called Strange Mercy. Its another piece of good music.
