I'm sure I'll feel better about it after I call Maxxsonics. Once I get the completed pair, I'm sure. I'm going to be anxious until I get a hold of someone to fix it though.

The KLH will sound like a mouse, compared to these speakers - they are sharp
looking - the elsberry is a good looking color.

It will be an ear opener for your experience

Hang in there it will work out.

For fun - hook it up to your right channel - leave KLH on the left channel, then
play them together > then turn one side all the way down and then the other,
you should be able to easily pick up on the differences.

Make sure you stand is strong enough for the MBQ

I'm pretty sure the stands are strong enough. The bases of the stands weigh about as much as these speakers. But I do think I'll have to collapse the telescoping poles. I really ought to do that anyway, not only for the lower center of gravity, but also because these speakers will be quite large. I think with the stands collapsed, the tweets will be about at ear level.

Heeeyyyy, no phone call to Maxxsonics needed! When I panicked last night I called UPS to see if they could tell me whether I have any other packages inbound. The lady said she couldn't, but recommended I sign up for UPS MyChoice to be notified when any package is on its way to my address. This morning I got an email from UPS with a second magical tracking number originating from Maxxsonics the day after my first speaker was shipped. So they already fixed it, and my second speaker is due for delivery today. w00p w00p!

zieg, I see you ordered some, too. I'll be anxious to see what you think about them. With a toddler in the house who worries that I'm being attacked by monsters when I have the volume up too loud, it's unclear when I'll have the opportunity to give mine a proper workout. But I'll at least post something this evening -- updated pic and first impressions at low to moderate volumes.

Pro tip: signature will be required for delivery. Go to ups.com and register for a mychoice account. You can digitally sign for the delivery online and specify where you'd like them left if you're not home (back porch, front door, etc). You won't have to deal with a door tag.
