No one with half a brain should be watching any cable news network. It's foolish to trust any source that relies on advertising to fund their operation, they are inherently compromised. Fox is simply the worst, but cnn and msnbc are pretty hard to stomach. If I had to watch a news network (and thank god I do not) it would be something like BBC or Al Jazeera, each being state-funded, they are not driven as much by advertising, but you still have to keep in mind neither are likely to be fully editorially independent. I have found the CBC to be pretty watchable as well. American news networks are great if you like flashy graphics accompanied by whooshing noises, and talking heads full of empty speculation, and very little actual content. As for Fox specifically, why would anyone watch a news channel that does not issue corrections as a practice and actually
sued for the right to lie with impunity?
