Believe it or not, I am actually working on my server today
This is the first weekend testing my new automated backup script on the server. It is working, but for some reason it runs slower than when I run it manually. I don't really like having to run it manually every weekend though, as my previous server ran automatically. I had to rewrite the script when I switched to this server (newer OS, new application, new server) and it appears to be working, but it should have been done by now IMO. There are a two things that run at the same time that may be part of it since I run them separately when I do it manually. I may need to break them up and have one run before the other using separate scheduled tasks. At least it is working, but I needed to perform some other maintenance also and I don't want to mess with it while the backup is running. My boss said I could take tomorrow off though
Going to dinner with the whole immediate family tonight.
