Burnside arrived late to the party but WOW!!! :eek: Toiled in obscurity for quite a while until he got together with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, a bunch of NYC scuzz-blues punk rockers and caused a stir among the blues purists that got him the attention he deserved. I was hooked in 1996 when I picked up A A$$ Pocket of Whiskey (*****) and never looked back. This is from his 1998 CD, Come On In (*****) where he collaborated with Beck mix-master Tom Rothrock and Alec Empire of Digital Hardcore. Good stuff. :)
