I don't know how people with 6+ kids do it.

No B&W 802D2 or McIntosh for them I guess.

Oooo yea. Just got the 2 subs setup and it's a HUGE difference. That lower end of 2 subs is niiiiiiiiiceeeeee.

No.... I never liked the bass of B&W, at least it's my opinion and the fact that you need subs to get descent bass from 802D just makes the point even clearer

Yup, no speaker bass can compete with great subwoofer bass.

Some can. The best bass that I've ever heard from a pair of speakers were Zu Dominance. It was crazy and way outperforming most subwoofers. I would love to see some power compression test measurements on them. To be fair, it is pretty expensive.

That's not the point..... I have speakers that's not claimed to go to the deep end, and I don't promote them as that.....
But to get 802D's and cross them at 80Hz, shows that the bass section is not well designed by B&W !

Show me a speaker that doesn't cost as much as an M3 that can play the deep bass as well as 2 subs. O, and i'm crossing them at 65hz

How about:
- Audiovector S6 Avantgarde
- Audio physic avantera+
- Dunlavy SC V
- VAF Signature i93
- Equinox Apogee

Even the VA Mahler is leaps better than 802D in this regards

I would never ask for subs with any of these speakers.... well unlike the 802D, which needs subs to sound good.....

But this is my opinion......

No, I certainly did not... !!!!!!!!
My point is that these are speakerswith good bass, contrary to 802D

The 802D is just an overrated piece of modern art, not good looking....
That does not even sound good if you ask me

Just enjoy your speakers and accept that the whole world does not have to agree with you
