Hi,

I'm in doubt which subwoofer match better my 2.1 and 5.1HT.

Input:
Rega RP40 Turntable
Iphone/Ipod
TV/Comcast Cable
Laptop

System:
Yamaha RX-1030 Receiver
Creek Destiny 2 Integrate
W4S DAC2-DSD

Speakers:
Tekton Pendragon Front Speaker
B&W HTM3S Center Speaker (it will be replaced next year for a Tekton Center Speaker)
Dynaudio XEO3 Rear Speaker

So I'm doubt with the subwoofer, if are you looking for it which one do you pick up from this list?

Martin Logan Dynamo 1500x
REL R-528
JL Audio Fathom F112
Tekton Pendragon Subwoofer

Thanks

From that bunch I would go with the F112 or the ML Dynamo. Every single measurement I have seen from REL have been awful, and any Tekton subwoofer is probably going to be using a low xmax, high sensitivity driver and tuned pretty high. However, if you enjoy their speakers, you might like their subs.

I believe Eric will make you any sub you want, I was going to have him make me a sub to match my lores but ended up scrapping the idea. I would just have tekton build you a pair of enclosures for some subs you want and use a Crown xls2500 topower them {maybe 2 - ultimax 18's...}...

I would pick the SVS SB13 Ultra. All those subs you listed seem to be in the $1500-$2000 range and sealed design. The SVS SB13 Ultra is the best sealed sub in that price range. Plus SVS customer service and support is top notch.

Yea.... my SVS PB13 combo blew away my JL F212. I wouldn't buy another JL product.... piss poor customer service. ML makes decent subs, but you have to be into the depth I/descent I to get something good. Their new stuff is still too new for me to comment on... haven't seen them yet.

I don't know about best sealed sub in that price range.. The Funk 15.0 would be very good without a doubt, and that is less than 2k. The Paradigm Sub 12's street price is under $2k and that might give the SB13 a run for its money.
