I ordered a SVS SB12nsd (to match my other two subs), an Emotiva Ultra 10 and Audioengine A5 Bamboo powered bookshelfs for my bedroom setup. I have purchased from Svsound and Emotiva before and heard great things about Audioengine.

If you wanted audio sites, Audiokarma rates highly since I like vintage and I still poke my head into Audioreview from time to time even though it's dying a slow death.

I've seen the name around enough to trust the brand but have not yet personally met anyone with them, nor have I heard them.

Two Blu-ray players: A Panasonic BD-85 because it had the needed analog MC audio outputs to feed my ancient Denon 2802 and had wireless internet built in. The second was a Sony 580 to take the place of the Panasonic, which has been in the shop TWICE under warranty. It doesn't have the analog MC audio, which seems to have pretty much disappeared, but it does have the wireless Internet capability. It'll go in the bedroom system when/if the Panasonic gets it's issues worked out.

Yes, Onkyo TX-NR809, Klipsch WF-35's, WC-24, WS-24's, RW-12D, Yamaha RX-V671, Denon AVR-4310CI, Samsung un55D8000.

Bang for my buck on most of what I bought this year. The tv was just simply awesome looking, both picture, and aesthetics.

After seeing Aperion Verus Grand reviews on both audioholics.com and hometheater.com, I am considering upgrading my speakers in the very near future.

It was time to upgrade my A/V receiver and I went with a Marantz SR7005. I am very happy with this receiver, and after reading reviews on both audioholics.com and hometheater.com I agree that I have made the right choice. It provides the right amount of power and looks awesome! I have also purchased a new Samsung PND59D7000 Plasma 3D TV along with a Samsung BDD6700 3D Blu-Ray player in which are all protected by a Panamax M4300-PM power conditioner.

Havent bought any home theater equipment in the past year. Been saving to buy a house. Planning on getting the aperion audio verus grand 5.2 system. Going to be 60% music and 40% theater system. Last month, when I was considering a pair of speakers to extend my HTS, Aperian "Verus Grand Tower Speaker", was in top of my list due to two reasons

a) Ratings & Awards
b) 30 days return

Because of budget constraints, I have postponed buying it to second half of this year.

2) Emotiva Ultra Sub 12" NEW Studio Black Satin Lacquer Finish
3) Infinity Primus PC350 Central Speakers
4) Infinity PS 252

After a few months, added the following to my HTS based on reviews.

I recently purchased a VTF-15H & MBM-12 from HSU Research. After a lot of reading & going to their demo room to have a listen myself, it seemed to me that HSU has the best "performance-per-dollar" value. I have been extremely happy with the quality of both build & sound of the 2 subs i bought!
