Very Familiar, I have been watching and waiting to buy the verus grand setup for my apartment for a long while, just haven't done it yet.

Yes, Panamax M5400-PM, Denon 4311ci, and energy cf-30 towers to replace old 5.1 fronts found em on amazon for a decent price. Got the denon and panamax due to price constraints and needs

I bought Paradigm Shift earbuds the day they were released. I'm a big Paradigm fan and was looking for new earbuds, so the timing was perfect.

Yes, a Sony bdp player - my first blu-ray player. It was a good deal, but I'm not super impressed overall. Other than that, my last hi-fi purchase was probably in 2003 - a pair of KEF bookshelf speakers and Celestion surrounds.

I have, including:
Onkyo TX-NR708 refurb directly from Onkyo with warranty
JBL ES10 Surrounds from Amazon
Polk Monitor 5 speaker setup from NewEgg (70s, CS2, 40s)
Crown XLS1000 external amp from Guitar Center

I ordered all of these brands because I believe they offer some of the best "value" for the money. While none of the speakers are audiophile or even as nice as what I believe Aperion to be, they will be adequate for my budget and home theater needs. However I believe the Onkyo and Crown components to be a true "high end" version of their respective classes (receivers and amplifiers).

1)yes
1st - Onkyo TX-NR809 lots of features for a great price. Have a friend that also has an Onkyo and I always loved it.
2nd - I also bought two Verus Grand Towers and one Verus Grand Center channel. I did lost of research on lots of products and Aperion Audio just blew its competitors out of the water in my opinion. They have lots of great reviews and rewards. This is why I chose Aperion.
3rd - I bought is a Submersive Hp. I chose this subwoofer because of its great praise in the audio world. This subwoofer always holds its own at subwoofer meets. Mostly wins them all.
