Will I notice any difference between Paradigm PD-12 & SVS SB12-NSD

I am changing my ht setup to def tech speakers - 7004 fronts, 2500 center, studio monitor 350 rears & BPX surronds.

Will I notice a big difference between the 2 subs? What crossover should I run for the fronts & sub?

There will definitely be a performance difference. However, depending on your environment, you may want to consider something that digs a little deeper. An Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus would be a good option.

I would like something that would let you feel the movie, but I also need something fairly small, decent price range & must pass the look test from the wife

The SB12 should work well for you then. I'd run the DTs with either 60/80 Hz XO.
