i think one indy dealer who is now out of business, once carried your speakers. so i cannot comment on what would sound best w/ your speakers. find a dealer who has in home demos, stick a demo pre/pro in your system, and see what happens. perhaps better, perhaps worse, at times little to zero change. the other, hyper minority position, is to go with a pre/pro that is future proof. parasound halo makes an all analog, multichannel pre-amp. if you need video switching, hdmi this and that, not the way to go. but the beauty is, if it sounds right, your done. it cannot be outdated by whatever new format, as it never supported any format in the 1st place. i first started this direction 3 years ago w/ a cary cinema 11 and over 1 1/2 years ago went to a macintosh C45, and have never looked back. and the sound quality, for both music and movies, is improved. for whatever new format is on the horizon, i may have to buy a new player, or server, or what ever is coming years down the road. but i will not have to buy another pre-amp. at least until i find one that sounds better than this, for BOTH 2 channel and multichannel.
