Ok. I am moving into a new house.
I need advice on my set up.
The source components are unimportant.
Here is the gear:
Canton Karat L800DC speakers

Onkyo TX805
0 receiver

Parasound HC750A amplifier

Sima SSWL6EX speaker selector

So. The question is how to hook up the speaker selector for my whole house audio set up?
I would like to use the Parasound to run the Cantons on the preout for speaker A, with the speaker selector running off of speaker B.
Can this receiver handle that set up power wise?
I could run the Canton's off Speaker A, and run the Parasound on zone 2, but I think this is doing the Canton's a disservice, and the Canton's might push the Onkyo too hard.
I love the feature set on the Onkyo; preouts and the ability to plug my iphone into it really sold me.
I would appreciate your thoughts and thank you in advance.

I would hook the Parasound amp to the Sima & connect Canton & all the speakers in the house to the Sima.

Yeah, I'd considered that, but would just as soon run the good speakers directly from an amplifier.........the speaker selector is really for background music on the whole house audio set up.

So Onkyo Speaker A ----> Parasound ------> Canton speakers,

Onkyo Speaker B -----> Sima ------> house speakers

I think that should work.
