Help Deciding between two subs

Arendal submits their subwoofers to third party reviewers and the results and CEA-2010 numbers have been favorable. The owner of PSA does not support having his subs receiving third party reviews which would yield CEA-2010 numbers. I always wonder why? If they would test well why would he avoid this?
I’ve wondered the same thing for a long time. I’ve been in enough threads with him, and owners, many of which used to own other high end subs, that I’d be comfortable buying from him. I mean he confounded arguably the most successful subwoofer company ever. I’ve also seen plenty of users measurements to go along with their stories.
FWIW, I don’t care if anyone buys anything from Tom ever. My thoughts are that he’s proven himself, and has even recommended other brands if it fit the customer better.

Get the Arendal. More local support if needed. And that PSA is already one model year old.
