As I said, I was probably breaking a law of nature daring to put that in there. But Seth is a forgiving man. Now, if it was anyone else....:D
I don't personally have a problem with it.:) Seeing the innards of innards of CD/DVD/BD spinners is cool with me.

Who makes it?

Edit: I see now that it's a Mark Levninson.;)

Edit edit: why does it have Ethernet ports?
Yes it was a Levinson. I did not see ethernet ports, where are they?

Well,... True. :) But that's only from Bryston company.
You're absolutely right but for Bryston only the 28B qualifies for arc welder.

Can you find the innards of the Mc2KW? There are always bigger ones but at least the $30,000 Mc2KW is affordable.

And how about this one, 15 kW @ 0.5 ohms total power!

Here is a adcom 5503

It has 6 big 18,000 uf 100 volt caps and a bunch of smaller ones. It is supposed to have 40,000 uf for each of the 3 channels.

The transformer is 2kva.

I only use 2 channels on it to drive my left and right mains.

No sweat man. And you're right, Seth=L is a very forgiving man, so as we, all of us. :)

Jeff! This is the third time that I request why I cannot access your link for that picture??? Is there a possibility that I can expect some type of answer?

Wow! Now, that's impressive! This, is the Bryston 28B's total number of block capacitors???
My goodness, that should be enough to pump the heart of any human being,
long time already dead and deeply buried below the pyramids! :eek:

Yoah, why not?

Yamaha RX-Z11 GUTZ.

Inside and out of the Yamaha RX-Z11.

* http://www.areadvd.de/hardware/2008/yamaha_dsp_z11.shtml

>> The two big caps are rated at 27,000uF each.
And the transformer is probably around 1 KVA.

~~ Too bad that the video processor is not up to par.
It's the Anchor Bay Technologies, the ABT-1018.

** The Dacs though are just fine, they are Texas Instruments TI Burr-Brown DSD-1796. There are eight (8) of them, stereo dacs.

And it uses Yamaha Cinema DSP HD3, with four (4) Cinema DSP engines (chips).

Why does Yamaha absolutely refuse to use toroidal transformers? We just put out a used Denon AVR-4802 today and it's got a 1.07kva toroidal in it, I can't see the caps, they aren't under ventilation.

Well they did with the Z9, remember? And then they screw up in the arrangement of their heat sinks!

* Yamaha RX-Z9 > http://www.areadvd.de/hardware/yamahadspz9.shtml
>> In the UK, it is the DSP-Z9

But you have to give it to Yamaha, their (square ;)) transformers are some of the very best.

* Did you read about their most recent Stereo (integrated) Amplifier, the A-S2000S?
It's a pure total beauty with all you want in an audiophile product.
Full-Stage Balanced Signal Transmission (amplification) from the input jack to just before the speaker jack - the dream of audiophiles.
Floating Balanced Power Amp and Fully Balanced Control Amp.

> Square transformer ;) is a Laminated EI core transformer, duh.

What do they want for it? Is it in good shape? If you didn't have your new Yamaha I would think you would snatch this up.
