I'm connecting a cable box, DVD player, VCR, and a Pioneer TiVo/DVD burner combo unit to a Denon 3805. All the video devices go to the receiver through their respecitive inputs, and the composite video goes out to the TV. The Tivo is on "VCR2", i.e. the Tivo outs go to the VCR2 ins, and the Tivo ins go to the VCR2 outs, just like it was a VCR. I want to use the receiver to select which device is recording, and which device is being recorded. But, I can't figure out how to get the receiver to do this. There has to be an easy way but the manual seems to skip this completely. Can someone out there who has figured out how to do this please explain it to me ?
