Dayton SUB-120 vs. BIC V1220 vs. BIC F12

Dayton is $160 shipped, V1220 is $160 shipped, F12 is $200 shipped. I plan on getting two for my basement. Also, I'm not sure what the connection options are on the BICs? Will I need a Y RCA connector and send both RCA lines from each sub into the Y connector on my receivers Pre Out? One more...

Advice on new sub please...in wall if possible

Fair enough. Just wondered if anybody had any experience with that in wall. So for your install of 2 subs, is what you mentioned the preferred setup? Or can I get a Y splitter and connect them both directly to the back of the receiver? Or does it not matter?

Advice on new sub please...in wall if possible

Thanks, you've been a tremendous help. So to run 2 subs, I assume an amp is necessary. The basic amp will due I'm guessing? That adds to my budget but I can probably cut corners elsewhere to fit it in.

In wall and In Ceiling Speakers

I'm determined to get either in wall or in ceiling speakers for my basement renovation for a "clean" look. The area is 900sq ft split evenly with what's going to be a bar area and a TV viewing area (with no separation in between). I want a speaker setup that provides good sound for the TV...
