Zenith E44W46LCD Question

I just got one of the above....My question is....Do I need a seperate box or does this tv have a built in hd tuner? If not, is there a way around paying the monthly fee other than using and antenna to recieve hd signals?

It requires an outboard HD tuner. You can pick up an over the air tuner and an antenna in many places. If you don't want to do this, then HD cable, or HD DSS are your options.

Since the TV is not digital cable ready, it will not receive HD channels from the cable company for free, which is about the only way I know of to get HD cable without paying.

So, in a word: No
