Is that an outdoor device?
More like a permanent mount device, as in not great for apartments, and maybe rental housing. If you own or rent a single unit dwelling (aka a house) you can mount them in the attic or on the rooftop, your choice.

Yes, because indoor antennas are a waste of space.
Thanks for the suggestion. My mother in law lives in a condo however; so, the antenna might not be allowed. I'll check it out though. I have an indoor flat plate antenna, the one that did not work for my mother in law. It gets 40 channels at my residence, which is high up upon a hill;,where I have line of sight to downtown Louisville, KY, over 20 miles from my home.
