Dead Can Dance -- Yulunga (Spirit Dancer) from "Into the Labyrynth". Amazing vocals and percussion, including a gong that should shake your bowels if reproduced properly.
Nancy Wilson, "Midnight Sun.". Lovely single-miked recording with crystal clear imaging. You should hear the cymbal strikes as she hits the bridge.
Low, "Laser Beam" from Things We Lost in the Fire. A woman's voice, close miked, with a guitar in the back. Simple and pure. A good speaker will reveal her breathing and a slight rasp. Be prepared for everyone in the audio shop to stop what they are doing to listen.
