One of the first things I did when setting up my new LG was to go thru and turn stuff like this off....got some guidance from a few youtubers offering a list of unnecessary things to turn off....

I don't use it for internet. Cable TV channels to TiVo. Laptop to TV via HDMI. much easier to navigate my laptop for Netflix, etc.

I don't connect any of my TVs. Once in a while I will just to let it update, but then it gets disconnected.

I disabled my TV from reaching the internet. Only local control is available.

All 3 of our smart tv's have Tracking or related, turned off. All 3 tv's are connected to the internet for, Netflix, Prime, Paramount+, HBO/MAX, Disney+, HULU, and Peacock. Oh, yes, the camera is turned off on the latest TCL.
