Alright, I’ve seen many threads about “favorite” speakers and some people have listed some cheap speakers that many people can afford.

So this one is only for speakers that YOU most likely will never afford and buy, but you find very aesthetically pleasing or beautiful to your eyes. :D

I’ll go first.

My list so far:
B&W 800s Diamonds
Kharma Enigma Veyron 1D/2D
Focal Grande Utopia

I admit, I am a sucker for some of those high-end Sonus Fabers and their finishing details.

Even something like the Serafino or Amati (still way too expensive) would do:

I do have a certain fondness for the B&W 800s, although they're not quite the traditional "beautiful" as some other candidates. There are a lot of things I could post if I could recall them and hunt them down.

Personally the most aesthetically pleasing ones would be invisible, just only so much appeal a coffin box can have no matter how pretty the wood :) I suppose if spending OPM I'd go for a creatively lit MBLRadialstrahler set....

I think most high-end speakers are gaudy. Something about $10k worth of finish on a $15k speaker just rubs me the wrong way and they seldom match anything else. Since CAD and CNC took over, everything has somehow instead, become aesthetically predictable in a far-out sense, like custom wheels on cars, for instance. The fact that someone can push buttons and come up with so many random designs, makes it all a blur, instead. To me, elegance of simplicity wins out, more often than not, without trying too hard.

Never really heard much about these before but if you were going to try to make a tall stack of boxes with chamfered corners look sexy, this isn't a bad effort:

B&W Nautilus are always up there for their looks.

Aerial 7T.

The Aerial 20T V2 I have not heard, I heard the V1s and they were amazing, but more functional than beautiful. The local shop who carried them went out of business :(

High end furniture does not add sonic value. Nice to look at sometimes, but that's up to the eye of the beholder, too.

Remember when the automakers began to use similar shapes for cars during the late-'80s?

I’ve never heard of Tidal Audio. So they are modular towers (RBH SVTRS is also modular).

Hey, @flyboylr45,

Would you buy these Legacy Audio if you had a trillion dollars? :D

There's a pair of Rosewood 20Ts an hour from me. 10k is a damn good price but it's 5k more than I can put into the "hobby" right now.

No mention of Magico or Raidho? They better look good at that price. :D
For aesthetics I like Sonus Faber and Legacy Audio.. AERIS XD is good enough for me. :)

In the wood finish without the grills they can look nice..good enough…
“Can be nice” and “good enough” is not the name of the game here. :D

If you were a millionaire, would those 2 speakers be in your house? :D

Well, I'm a practical person, so yeah, they would be contenders because the exterior finish is nice and they are some of the best sounding speakers available. I trust Perlisten, Focal, RBH and Legacy to make great sounding speakers. Some of the other exotics, not so much.

You know my mental state at the moment. I would buy them RIGHT NOW if I could return ….. at least these would arrive flawlessly . ;)
I hear your pain. I feel the stress. This long wait is a PITA for sure. I hate it when things are not 100% complete. :(

I’ve seen some very impressive Chinese cabinet works.

So the question is, extremely expensive handmade cabinets vs beautiful premade Chinese cabinets for speakers?
