Yet another In Wall Speaker advice question

Hello,
I am looking to upgrade my current In Wall Speakers. They are a cheap 6.5in pair. I am currently building a new computer and will be apart of the new configuration/system. I bought a new A/V Receiver and a Sub to replace my old Logitech Surround Sound system. My current set up is as noted the Logitech Z-906 but I do not use the the Logitech speakers that came with it except the sub. My desk sits in a corner and I have the two cheapo in wall speakers on each wall, a center speaker and two ceiling speakers. I went with a receiver because I can do full stereo sound for music and surround when I play a game or watch a movie.
I am looking for and 8" woofer in wall speaker, budget up to around 600.00 for the pair. I have done a number of searches and they all bring up the same brands, Polk, Micca , Pyle etc...
So far my top choice is Paradigm CI Pro P80 IW, but it is slightly out of my price range. Would like a set that has good bass (I guess it would be mid since I have a sub) and efficient. Just looking for other brands than the typical search brings up.

An 8' driver will help in the base department. As long as your expectations are set that in-walls will never out perform a boxed speaker when it comes to low frequencies. But they can sound very good. What center speaker are you using? Your best bet is to match them up if possible. For example, I installed Polk V85 in walls and recently added a Polk S35 Center speaker and they compliment each other very well.

Monitor Audio W180 or W280 might work.

Center is a Polk TL1. I bought it because it fit under my old monitor which was not adjustable when the Logitech quit working. Hard thing is finding one not to big with good sound. With the monitor I have now I can raise it so in the future I can find a little bigger better sounding one if I choose.

Thanks

If replacing the center is an option, you should look at the Polk S35. Really good sound from a low profile speaker.

Just remember, timbre matching is key to a good sound system. If one speaker sounds dramatically different from the others it will stick out like a soar thumb. The goal is a seemless sound stage a cross the front 3, or at least as close as you can get to it.

Good to know about the sound matching. The Monitor w180 looks like a good option, but I can not find it online or a retailer close to me.
FYI, if you haven't guessed I live in the states and in the middle of nowhere.

I agree great sound. I have the Signature Series 7.1 setup in my living room.
