Advice on sound system for a very small home gym

I have a small home gym and I want to improve the music in it. It’s L- shaped and dimensions are 320 by 500cm for the larger limb and 170by 220 for the smaller. I currently have Bose earphones, a B and O music system in my car and a Denon home theatre system with B and W speakers. Generally I like an immersive rich sound experience but in the gym I’m looking for a bass- heavy system. Thinking of buying the JBL bar 2.1 deep bass mark 2 soundbar with sub. Can anyone advise me in this regard?

I used my old Onkyo 805 receiver and some older speakers works well garage echo so much without room treatment. It get sound there

For the price of the JBL you could get a nice mini stereo system that comes bundled with a CD player, BT, radio and some an USB port.
