Just installed the Yamaha YSP - 1100. System setup ideally would be - cable box and dvd video input into YSP with component video cables and then YSP component out to TV component in. Audio from cable box and dvd into corresponding audio inputs in the YSP. Obvious benefit here is I can keep my tv source to component in and just flip the input source on YSP when going from one device to the other. My issue is the video pass through doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know what to do here? When I connected cable box into YSP and YSP to TV, and put TV on component input, I get an "unsupported format" type error. I'm assuming video-passthrough is something that YSP supports since it has the component inputs and outputs. What am I missing?
