yamaha V673 A/V rec With Acoustech PL-200 sub woofer

Hello, i recently bought both items along with Energy Take Classic 5.0 speakers. I RAN THE YPAO setup on my yamaha receiver and i am not happy with the systems calibration. The bass seems a little too weak for me.. my receiver has a "sub 1" and Sub2" RCA input.. and my PL-200 subwoofer has a single "SUB IN.. before running the YPAO on the receiver, i set ghe volume on the subwoofer to Half and i have the cross over on the sub turned all the way down.. could this be the problem??

You need to set you subwoofer crossover point to the highest setting and then let your receiver control the cross over frequency.
