I am able to buy this rec for 125$ used, but in good condition. Is it worth it? I'm upgrading from a htr 5560 (i forget exactly), or should I just keep saving? One good thing I did like, is that it has pre-out :D ...comments please...

That sounds like a good price to me - that receiver is barely two generations old, since the RX-V671 just came out. I'd definitely plan on making use of those preouts, though :)

HD decoders and 90 watts a channel. If your speakers match up go for it. If you know who is selling it.
I have found on Bluray movies I have to use way more of my amps then with CD music. So think about what you will use it for the most. If it has Pre-out go for it but the down side is buying a used AVR with no warranty.....it's a crap shoot. I have had some bad luck with used electronics I would save up and buy a new one. I think the auction site still has some of these A stock and buy the Square Trade warranty. Amazon has 2 that are factory refubrished for $249.00 or new for about 100 bucks more with Yamaha warranty. Good luck, so many options.

Lab/Philip- thanx for the replies. I ended up buying it used for 125$, too good to pass up...Have it for 2 solid days, and everything is working to par...In comparison to my old htr receiver, it probably weighs at least 5lbs less. I will be buying an amp a lil later down the road tho, but right now, shes enough for me...
